Zach was nominated for “Best Performance In A DVD Film – Young Actor” for his performance in the hit DVD film, “Golden Winter”.

High Ridge Woman Called Real Hero for Saving Driver in Arnold

Three people, including a High Ridge woman, who came to the aid of a driver who was having a seizure on Vogel Road were honored for their heroic actions by the Rock Community Fire Protection District Monday night.

Ron Harder, the district's spokesperson, presented each good Samaritan with a plaque for their service to the community at a ceremony at the district's headquarters Monday night.

ST. LOUIS, MO - Need help with your tax preparation? If you live in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles or metro-east Illinois and your household income was less than $51,000 in 2012 you may qualify for free tax help – and you might get more money back. The Gateway EITC Community Coalition is offering free tax help to those who qualify. For information on if you qualify, locations, dates, and documents needed see below or contact United Way at 2-1-1 or 800-427-4626. Those who qualify may also go online to file their own taxes at GatewayEITC.org.

Missing Oakville Teen Found After Six Days

The Oakville teen whose six-day runaway from home was shared by thousands of concerned people on Facebook has reunited with her family.

Alexis Diani, 15, was at a friend’s home in the Butler Hill subdivision when a parent saw her and tipped of Alexis’ family, said Alexis’ stepfather Ricky Fredrick. The family called police, who helped Alexis and her family come back together.

Fenton Man Will Fight to Win on MMA Reality TV Show

A St. Louis-area man was announced Wednesday as one of 28 participants to spar in the upcoming season of FX's "Ultimate Fighter," which debuts Tuesday, Jan. 22.

Middleweight fighter Adam Cella, who trains at Finney's MMA in Crestwood, will compete against international contestants for the chance to earn an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contract.

South County Man Collecting Items for Hurricane Sandy Victims

Former East Coast resident Mike Royster is working to organize the community in response to Hurricane Sandy, to collect essential items for families in need. Royster, who now resides in the Lindbergh School District, is setting up a 53-foot semi truck trailer on the parking lot at Sperreng Middle School, which is located at 12111 Tesson Ferry Rd., and is asking the community to help him fill the truck with nonperishable items, toiletries and survival items.
